Outlandish Optimism
INTERNATIONAL DESIGN DAY 2025
APRIL 26–27 IN VILNIUS
The International Design Council dared to raise a globally relevant topic – bold optimism. The Lithuanian Design Association will dare to implement it.
PROGRAM
HOW DARE WE?
In times of ecological and social crises. In the face of war. In a world that seems to have gone mad. How dare we create? When it would be easier, or perhaps more correct, to accept pessimism, creation becomes an expression of audacious optimism. And because of that, it becomes necessary.
On April 27, International Design Day, we will explore the theme of audacious optimism. We invite you to embrace this radical design approach – we present a program that did not fit into one day. All from audacious optimism.

Talking about them is unusual, uncomfortable, but very interesting. Fail Nights are the only storytelling events of this format that encourage you not to be afraid to talk about professional things that didn't work out. Or didn't work out according to plan.
